Donned in black, filled with musical prowess, Lambert ruled the stage with his presence and vocals. Glamberts were thrilled to see their iconic singer mark the stage with legendary Queen. What makes Queen so super-cool is their response to the Lambert that is Adam. Brian May stated that Lambert has a “beautiful tone” that complements the band’s material. Additionally, May added that Lambert “has the passion,” the humor and an enjoyable level of campiness. Fans would agree wholeheartedly.

In 2009 rumors started surfacing that Lambert would be the perfect touch to Queen when the band parted ways with Paul Rodgers. Lambert brought a certain sense of nostalgia to the group, he had the Freddie Mercury attitude with the pipes. He could a void the band had been missing since the early 90s. Roger Tyler stated when Lambert was on American Idol, he was watching closely, stunned by a talent that connected with his musical soul.
Glamberts that have been following Lambert for many years remain dedicated enamored by his kindness, connection with the crowds and soul. He has reached the peak of his mighty mountain, created by his own talent, thanking no other than the fans who motivate him to continue on. The Glamberts took to to call Friday night’s performance epic, legendary and brilliant.

Adam Lambert / Source: Bryan Steffy/Getty Images North America | Paul Smith Fall Winter 2013
Adam Lambert attended the iHeartRadio Music Festival at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on September 20, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Adam wore a light pink and blue geometric print shirt from Paul Smith Fall Winter 2013, styled with his signature super quiff. I'm not usually a fan of guys unbuttoning half their shirts, but the attention was drawn to the necklace with the long drop chain, which isn't too bad. The massive skull ring matches his somewhat gothic image but I got a little confused with the very bling bracelet (oh I like). But I guess he's not called Adam Glambert for no reason.

Review: Adam Lambert and Queen mesmerize at iHeartRadio Music Festival Special

Former American Idol runner-up winner and Grammy-nominated pop star Adam Lambert performed at the iHeartRadio Music Festival at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, along with the iconic rock group Queen.
This music festival took place on September 20 and 21, and it featured a wide range of performers from many genres of music. Mario Lopez, the host of the television show "Extra," introduced the iconic rock band Queen, as well as Lambert. Lambert opened their set by belting out Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody," which featured Brian May on electric guitar, and it was followed by "Another One Bites the Dust." After May switched guitars from electric to acoustic, Lambert broke into "Crazy Little Thing Called Love." Roger Taylor soared on drums.

Lambert showcased his superb range and powerful pipes on "Who Wants to Live Forever," and May joined him on backing vocals. "How are you doing Las Vegas? Do you feel good?" May asked the crowd. "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the stage, the incredible gentlemen of Fun." Nate Ruess, the lead singer from the band Fun, sang with Queen on "Somebody to Love." "The best singer that I know is going to come back out. Ladies and gentlemen, Adam Lambert," Ruess said, and joined him and Lambert on "Fat Bottomed Girls," which was a crowd-favorite. "Ladies and gentlemen, give it up one more time for Fun," Lambert remarked.

It was followed by "Dragon Attack" and the Queen signature tune "We Will Rock You." Their set closed with yet another Queen classic "We Are the Champions," which was yet another powerhouse performance, which garnered them all a deserving standing ovation. "Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for Brian May and Roger Taylor," Lambert said praising the legendary rockers, and all the performers took a bow together. "Thank you," Lambert said in awe, and blew a kiss to the audience.

The Verdict In summation, Adam Lambert commanded the iHeartRadio Music Festival stage extremely well and it was the perfect tribute to Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Brian May and Roger Taylor. He put on a flawless concert and it was a standout set from this year's music festival. Their late front-man Freddie Mercury would have been proud of his spell-binding performance. Lambert proved yet again that he is one of the most underrated male vocalists in contemporary music. For more information on Adam Lambert his music, visit his official website .
